In Case You Haven’t Heard >

They cast Peeta and Gale in the Hunger Games movie.  Katniss is growing on me.  I think it is the blonde hair that throws me off.  Gale?  Hotty.  Not who I pictured in my mind…but Liam will do.

But Peeta?

Ugh.  Don’t even get me started.  I guess the only thing I can do now is wait.  But honestly….Bridge to Terabithia Boy?

COME ON!

Props to Angie for updating me on this heart-wrenching news.***

Conference Weekend

Friday Zach and I went out for sushi and decided to veer off our normal and predictable path of dinner and a movie and go bowling! The last time I went was before Zach and I got married, and I convinced him to go to the high school hot-spot: Bonwood. Nothing has changed…still the best deal in town.

Zach and I usually make a friendly wager, but this bet was all business. Since we recently got back from Cali, we have quite the pile of laundry that has been building. So…I bet Zach if he lost he would have to do every single last scrap of laundry. He, over confident, agreed. Well, things did not exactly go his way and I had a relaxing laundry-free Saturday!!! We watched conference, and relaxed all day. Then I drove up to Layton for a massage at my sister-in-law’s Spa.

I have been helping her with some printed materials and whatnot, so treated me to an amazing foot soak and massage! She even set out my favorite treat on a silver platter! (Ok, it was a glass platter, but still…). Quite honestly, the best massage I have ever had. If you ever go to Beyond Spa in Layton, ask for Camille. She will rock your world! Thank you Lori, for such an amazing afternoon!

The rest of the evening was spent with my mother, aunt, and cousin.  We went to dinner at a place out by them called Finn & Norah’s.  It was pretty good, and we would definitely go again.  The highlight of the meal for me was stopping at Red Mango.  Their Pomegranate frozen yogurt was SO good, I can’t believe I have never been there before last night.  My family, unfortunately, was not as impressed as I was.  (They are more Coldstone people, and didn’t love the yogurt so much.)  We headed off to Source Code, and then made our way home!  Girls’ Night never happens often enough!

We even saw a movie, Source Code.  Like a mix between Inception and Vantage Point?  Kind of confusing…but entertaining!

We loved Conference weekend!
