Come What May

April was busy, and with the busyness of summer approaching, I’m grateful for May.  May is my favorite month!  I hope it stays spring for a while.  As for the first week of May? It’s already my kind of month…

Trips [two] with my Mom to Target – in search for the perfect Maxi skirt for her for Mother’s Day.

Bridal Showers [two – one for a family friend that had a LEMONADE BAR and another for my cousin, Shelby]

Received an invitation in the mail that I designed for one of my closest friends!  Can’t wait for her wedding…

Wore my most favorite (and comfortable) leggings to work…and got made fun of the whole day.

[Polka-butt was my favorite]

Lunch with my friend AJ at 9th and 9th Delicatessen [because she works so close to me now!]

Shopped at City Creek before our dinner reservation on Friday night.  I destroyed my running shoes in Hawaii running on the beach and still can’t get all the sand out of the mesh – so I got the new Nike Free Advantage shoes!  They are  AMAZING!

No, I did not wear the shoes with my polka pants – just trying them on, promise.

Sushi and a movie date – Naked fish and the Avengers!  We both LOVED the movie – which surprised me…and Ironman is still my fave.

Celebrated Cindo de Mayo with some grub at Red Iguana…

and observed all the other festive treats that come along with Zach’s favorite holiday….

(Yes, that is a little Latino child hanging out the window – we thought for a moment we were in Ogden)

And the finale was Sunday dinner at the Fotheringham household.

I’d say May [so far] is pretty O.K.
