Wedded Bliss

Remember when I posted about my friend, Brady Mathews’ wedding? Here’s some major wedding inspiration.

Just spotted these photos of his invites and the menus (which I forgot to post previously) on his photographer’s blog.  Much more beautiful than the gross screen shots I took a few weeks back…

I love when you have a friend with such amazing taste/style!  His wedding really was STUNNING.

You can see all the photos from his big day HERE on Alixann Loosle’s photography blog.

As a Matter of Maps

Our office is COVERED in maps.  Manhattan, Chicago (the most recent purchase), San Francisco that I saw on a Graphic Design Blog, and so on…

I finally got our “gallery wall” all hung up while Zach was gone.  All I need now is the window shade, and that room is complete.  We’ve lived in this house for two years, next week…and we only have one room completely finished.  At least it is a start!

Weekend, NOTED

After being in Vegas the majority of the week, all I wanted to do this weekend was spend as much time as I could with Zach.

Friday, after watching portions of the Royal Wedding (which Zach thought was a movie coming into theaters…?) when I got home, Zach and I decided to do a Pajama Movie.

There is a theater that is near our house that we go to often, mostly because the movies are really cheap (and they are new releases, not like the Dollar Theater).  We got dressed in our “comfy cozies” (as my niece Lola would call them) and ate dinner at home before we went to Soul Surfer.  Such a cute movie, which is obviously a true story.  Zach actually requested to go to this film, and was immediately itching to go surfing again.

Saturday I finally got all the pieces of my stationery.  I have been wanting to order custom stationery for months.  (It’s one of those MANY things on my To-Do List.)  I found options that I LOVED at one of my favorite online paper sources, but not a whole suite I wanted to order.  So…I ordered some Graphic Art pieces and made some of my own to match.  The pieces I printed off myself are not as great of quality, but I’ll take ’em!

Later that afternoon was my nephew Charlie’s baptism.  We are so proud of him and his decision to get baptized!  Char has a way with the ladies, and looked so adorable in his little suit.  It was fun visiting with family after the baptism and some of us even attended a movie after – the always entertaining Fast Five.  Honestly, Zach and I were more entertained with the people in the theater than with the actual plot of the show.  Regardless, we loved being with Zach’s brothers and their wives.  It’s always a good laugh!

P.S. Congrats to all our friends that have graduated/are graduating this week!  So excited for you all!!!

Two of Hearts (I Need You, I Need You)

You know, like the song by Stacey Q?

If you have seen the movie Hot Rod, then you might have a laugh because to your mind might flash this glorious dance:

I finished Jen and John’s suite last night.  I sing that song in my head every single time I open their file.  I am happy for these two, even though I have never met either of them (they live across the country).  Congrats to Jen and John!
