Thursday night all the Hendersons set off for our weekend at Grand Targhee. Zach and I hitched a ride up with Mark and Jeanene. That meant good music and frequent stops for “treats” at local gas stations. Zach’s treat of choice really created the road trip ambiance…
Friday morning we all got up and hit the slopes. Some of us better attired than others…
We spent all day cruising around until it was time to head back to the lodge for some tubing.
We spent a couple of hours tubing all together. That tubing luge was pretty intense, actually.
We spent the later hours of the day watching NCAA basketball. This is the only way I get Zach to look at me during March Madness, honestly…
Another highlight of the late hours of the night (and early morning hours, actually) was Georgia dazzling us with her vocal stylings. Opera in the morning, opera at night. At one point Zach and Georgia were having a full on sing-off.
Saturday was another full day of riding.
After day two we went to dinner to celebrate Zach’s brother Tony’s 40th birthday.
The weekend went really fast and it was pretty sad to pack all our stuff up on Sunday morning. I love spending time with ALL the Hendo family. Targhee is becoming one of my favorite family adventures we have had. I can’t wait for next year already!
